The British Grand Prix 2009 - June 19th - 21st - Silverstone

WE WERE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a truly amazing weekend.  We saw the F1 teams put the cars through 1st, 2nd and 3rd free practice, then quali and then the big race itself.  The circuit was a total sell out and the atmosphere was amazing.  In between the F1 there was lots of other motor racing and air displays including the Red Arrows which was awesome!

Jenson Button arrived at his home Grand Prix as Championship leader and the crowd went wild when he brought his car out onto the circuit.  We had our passes for the British Racing Drivers Club and had hospitality for the whole weekend.

We got to meet many wonderful people and drivers but the icing on the cake was getting some time with Jenson Button on the Saturday evening to give him his fan book 2009 that I had put together off the fans on his forum from all over the world.  Enjoying a Pimms with his lovely Mum was wonderful and we enjoyed chatting to his Dad who loved the pink race day t-shirt I'd had made.

We got great photos of the whole weekend over 1800 shots!!!!!!!!!!!  We brought home lots of autographs from many drivers and team principles too as well as truly amazing memories of a magical race weekend.  We didn't want the weekend at Silverstone to end!
