September 1996 was the happiest day of our lives when we said "I do". We chose to get married at the family church where Karen's Mum and Dad were married and where Karen was christened. It was a beautiful Autumnal day and the sun did shine. It was truly perfect and romantic in every way. We shared the day with family and friends and discovered that celebrating our love was the promise for a lifetime of happiness together.................. "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,," Corinthians 13:1 Dave waiting at the church entrance. The church had been beautifully decorated in flowers and the colours complemented the autumnal theme Karen had chosen for her flowers and those of the bridesmaids and their dresses too. Karen had her 2 best friends, Elaine and Carol, as Bridesmaids and her cousin's daughter Ashlea was the flower girl. Karen arriving at the church. Karen with her Dad just before getting into church. Following the ceremony, we were taken through to the vestry in the church to sign the register.
