WOW!!!!  The first time ever a Formula 1 team has ever done an open day and we were their to support our favourite team and British driver.

Honda F1 Racing Team - Head Office

Honda F1 Racing Team opened their factory in July 2007 and sold tickets to raise funds for charities they support.  This was an opportunity to see an F1 team up close and get a real feel for a sport we have so much passion for. 

Not only was it a great day which taught us a lot about the cars from design to finish, but we got to see how things are planned, the paint shop, the racing lorries with all the info on board that go to every race day and we got to speak to lots of engineers and get a real insight into what makes an F1 team tick.

The big bonus of course was meeting the drivers!!!  Yes Jenson Button was there along with Anthony Davidson and we had an amazing day, some great memories and pictures to treasure forever.  Honda are like a big family and after a full day in their company we understand why Jenson is sticking with them and why he believes they will deliver him a winning car!  There is so much passion within the team. Christian Klien, James Stewart and the legendary Murray Walker were also there along with bands and plenty of great food and drink.

With Jenson's PA Jules, I did a fan book to Jenson from all the people on his website forum and she ensured he got it and on the day he said "thanks for doing it" and told me "it was awesome"..........................then I got my best picture of him ever signed to me.......
